How is my score calculated?

For both Score My Resume and LinkedIn Review, you get an overall score. This score is based on all the checks we ran over your resume and LinkedIn profile. In Score My Resume, this includes criteria like impact, soft skills or word choice. 

In your feedback report, we list all the checks we ran over your resume/profile and how you did on each. The overall score is based on all of these. Note that some resume or LinkedIn checks are more important than others, so your overall score is not a simple average. Instead, it weights specific checks differently depending on importance and insights from hiring managers. 

The scoring is transparent. If you score 10 on each criteria, your overall resume score will be 100 out of 100!
